Faarsheed Bio

Stated by Neil Moffit (Godskitchen, Inc.) as “the DJ to look out for,” Faarsheed has proven to be a solid fixture in the dance music world. In 2006/2007, Faarsheed was voted into the DjMag Top250 Dj elite in the world, and continues to make his stamp in the dance music scene with his dedication & hard work. Graduating from UNLV with a bachelors in computer science & a minor in mathematics in 2001, with the degrees out of the way, he immediately turned his attention to his lifetime passion...music. He began playing major events with Spundae, Las Vegas & Los Angeles in 2001, and from there, he worked his way up to become part of the prestigious Godskitchen & Ice, Las Vegas family, and a permanent fixture as a Godskitchen/Ice resident in Las Vegas. Completing his ICE residency (with the closing of ICE), & his 1 year afterhours residency at Late Night Empire, Faarsheed then began taking his show on the road touring most of the major cities throughout North America: Miami, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Washington DC, Dallas, Detroit, Scottsdale, & more...as well as countries like Brazil (Sao Paolo), Mexico, Canada, Turkey, Greece, Germany, Australia, Spain (Ibiza), Dubai, Bahrain, Egypt....& clubs like Space, ICE, Godskitchen, Avalon, Ruby Skye, Vanguard, Cielo, Jet, Vessel, Nikki Beach, Prive, Giant, Spundae, Nocturnal, Set, Passion, Pacha & more…and the demand grows with every performance. Faarsheed’s acute ear for a tune, rigorous work ethic, programming skills, crowd recognition, and a technical ability that is second to none, have led him through a consistent climb approaching new levels in his career. The reason for his successful career thus far is because his of his ability & experience behind the decks as a dj, controlling & pushing the energy of massive crowds, and this translates into the veins & blood of the crowd when you see their faces. But dont take it from us, go see him live for yourself, watch & listen as he takes you on a journey through all kinds of house music for 6+ hours, seamlessly transitioning through different styles, & properly building the night to climax just at the right time....once you do that, then you will see what all the hype is about.

With many years of experience & club/crowd knowledge behind his belt at a young age, Faarsheed decided to started his own night in Las Vegas in 2007, called “3400” Mondays at JET Nightclub. In its first year, the night was voted “Best House Music Night” in Las Vegas, with the decks handled by Faarsheed & good friend, Chris Garcia, as well as guest djs like Tiesto, Dubfire, Sharam, Deadmau5, Paulo Mojo, MstrKrft, & many more who regularly stop through the party. Within a year, the night quickly became known as the best Monday night in dance music in the nation. Besides running a successful night, 2008 was a year of many productions and relentless studio time for Faarsheed, which has resulted in many of his own original productions & remixes being picked up on labels like Pacha Recordings, Whoop!, & more. In May of 2009, Faarsheed launched his new Podcast show on iTunes and Bia2.com called "Faar & Wide," which showcases many of his own tracks & edits as well as other producers who he respects. Many of his own original tunes, remixes, & bootlegs are now being thrown into the playlist rotation of many of the worlds’ most well known djs/producers. His single, “3 Years Later” was released by Pacha Recordings in October 2008, & has seen major support from the industry's best already, including Ferry Corsten, who placed 3 Years Later as the 1 track in his Top Ten Countdown. And his latest releases in 2009 are being champed by Tiesto, Sharam, Dean Coleman, Sander K, PVD & many more. Like Motivation, which is being heavily supported by Tiesto on tour as well as on his clublife radio show.

With a successful night in the fastest growing city in the world, an impressive resume, original tunes being released on well known labels, and live dj sets that impress any avid music lover, Faarsheed tells us it’s just the beginning for him, and we believe him! The past few years have been very bright for him, yet the future looks even more promising as he continues to create massive buzz everywhere he goes. There are no words to describe Faarsheed....you simply just have to go see him.
